This update announces the availability of the post endotoxin filter sample port kit. The sample port kit provides a means of obtaining water samples down stream of the CWP system endotoxin filters. It is very similar to the water sample ports 9 and 133 inside the CWP.
All CWP's in production are now equipped with the ASCO style valves. These valves and the Inlet Water Valves now have smaller coils. In response to the premature failure of ODE style solenoid valve membranes, an improved membrane and valve assembly has been introduced. The new parts are available as a rebuild kit and are compatible with all existing CWP systems with the ODE valves. In this update the author includes installation instructions and part numbers.
CWP models are equipped with external buzzers that are used in conjunction with the alarm lights and located in the patient treatment area. Some local regulations require an alarm that can only be muted for 3 minutes. This update introduces a new buzzer equipped with a 3 minute mute timer.
